The dress is ivory lace over light gold satin. It was purchased in August 2013 and worn to a wedding 6/7/14. Many compliments were received on the dress!
The dress is medium weight but does not feel heavy and I believe a layer can be removed to lighten the dress even more. The back is a corset lace-up with a clip to hook to close it. It is easy to put on and take off, and you don't have to worry if you gain/lose a few pounds because the corset lace gives you the option to tighten or loosen it easily.
