Monique Lhuillier Portia Sequin unclassified dresses

The wedding dress is strapless ivory blush silk sheath dress with a draped sweetheart bodice and was bought at Joan Pillow in Houston. I absolutely loved how chic the material and shape was and the back was so dramatic, nothing anyone had ever seen before. The dress is very light as it's made of silk organza. I wore the dress for the ceremony and reception, I kept the train down for the ceremony and bustled the dress during cocktails for the rest of the evening – which made it so easy to dance in. After bustling the dress I felt it gave a whole new style and depth to the dress, the back of the dress had great movement as we danced. The material of the dress is extremely soft, the tailor kept calling it “butter” material, which gave it a very sophisticated look.
