My mind was set on a lace and beaded trumpet gown by a different designer. I saw it in a magazine and it was love at first sight. As luck would have it, I couldn't find the dress in any of the bridal stores in 3 different states! I booked an appointment at a little boutique my sister and I stumbled upon on our way to the beach. It was a light pink 2-story, beach house styled shop called "Love, A Bridal Boutique". We arrived for the appointment and the associate locked the door once we entered. We had the place to ourselves, and as much time as we wanted. The amazing associate Melissa convinced me to try on a gown in a style and fabric I hadn't even considered. Before she even finished with the zipper, I knew I had found my dress, and tears filled my eyes (I'm not a crier). My sister gasped, held her breath and stared, and finally muttered my words from the dressing room. This gown is simply perfect in every way; comfortable, breathable, flattering, and not once did I have to adjust the bust. I spent the entire reception boogying on the dance floor, and the gown remained perfectly positioned through every move. I was even capable of using the ladies' room without assistance! Now, I'm not a feathers and roses kind of girl, but the ostrich feathers are so graceful when the breeze catches them, which only adds to its charm. I had intended to have the roses removed, but they work so well with the way the gown is gathered. Getting rid of them would have significantly changed the appearance, and I wanted the dress that took my breath away and brought tears to my mother's eyes. I had the most incredible time in that gown, and I hope another bride will enjoy it as much as I did!
