I love Banana Republic, J Crew and classic class. I wanted something that was a statement in it's simplicity and most important was something comfortable. I tend to fidget when i'm uncomfortable and did not want my dress comfort or insecurities to distract from my day - I think I picked a great dress that accomplished those things.

We are preparing to move and it is time for me to get the dress out of the house. Due to the chaos of life at the moment, I am selling with no returns.

I became engaged on August 13th, 2016 and married on Oct 1, 2016. As corporate event planning is part of my career, I opted to go through the process a little quicker than most and with a lot less input from others on the choices I made. We selected a beautiful turn key venue and did not look back on our selections.

I picked out and purchased my dress within 4hrs of becoming engaged. I had never tried on dresses and was unsure what style I wanted. I am 5"5 with a small bust (32B) small waist, then widen at the hips and thighs (my pants are size 2-6 depending on brand). I had no idea going into the process what would be the most flattering. I had suspected a skirt at my waist and bodice would be flattering, while it was beautiful, the skirt was SO heavy and in the fitting started to hurt my hips and back. When I tried on the simple and elegant trumpet dress that I landed on, it just made sense. It was classic, classy, simple and elegant, but still lady like and sexy and most important comfortable.

I have not checked the brand of the dress, again things were done quickly without research. I will find out the brand and add it (i'm currently at work). The dress is in excellent condition with no stains or tears.
