Beautiful dress from Essence of Australia. I am a pear shaped bride so I knew from the beginning that I wanted an A-line dress with a natural waist to complement my figure. I originally walked into the bridal shop wanting to get something plain but the minute that I tried it on I knew this was the one - and it was only the 6th dress that I tried on (which, saved a LOT OF TIME!) It's sparkle and lacy, and has a beautiful chapel train! Everyone in the bridal shop said I looked like I shined in that dress - and I bought it right on the spot! When the dress came in 7 months later, I couldn't wait to try it on! And I didn't even need to alter it because it fit so well. I also appreciated the fact that the dress has a corset back, it is flexible enough to allow some fexibility in weight fluctuations :) Neckline to hem is 49''
I wore it at our wedding which is a boutique hotel in Guadalajara, Mexico. This classic dress fully complements our vintage style wedding. I was in this dress for about 4 hours long before changing to another dress. I then brought it back to the US and had it professionall cleaned.
